The Canary District is a vibrant urban community in the West Don Lands. It is bounded by Cherry Street to the west, the Don River to the east, Eastern Avenue to the north and the railroad tracks to the south. Established as the official athlete's village for the 2015 Pan American Games, this community has transformed into a thriving residential and commercial district. The area is characterized by its contemporary architecture, and pedestrian-friendly design. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy a range of amenities, including parks, shops, restaurants, and community spaces.
