Community Environment Day - Regent Park

Join your Toronto Centre neighbours for a day dedicated to environmental sustainability and community engagement! Our annual Community Environment Day offers a variety of activities and services designed to help you make a positive impact on our planet.

What to Expect:

  • Free Bagged Compost: Pick up nutrient-rich compost to enrich your garden soil. 
  • Free Seed Giveaway: Pick up some seeds for your community garden or personal garden, courtesy of Fred Victor Seed Library. Find your local Seed Library here! 
  • Household Hazardous Waste Disposal: Safely dispose of items like paints, batteries, and chemicals.
  • Donations: Bring gently used household items and clothing, as well as non-parishable food items for the Allan Gardens Food Bank.
  • City Programs Info: Discover valuable resources and services offered by the City to support sustainable living.
  • Free Community BBQ: Come and enjoy some freshly grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, courtesy of the Local 416. 
  • Free Ice Cream & Slushies: Come and enjoy an ice cream or slushie! We will be handing out vouchers to redeem at the ice cream truck. First come, first serve.  

This event is perfect for residents of all ages. By participating, you’re contributing to a cleaner, greener Toronto. Let’s work together to make a difference!
