137-149 Church Street Community Consultation

This event has already taken place.

This community consultation meeting will feature two seperate development applications. 237-253 Victoria Street will be held betwen 5:30pm and 6:30pm. 137-149 Church Street will be held between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

The City of Toronto’s Development Review Division has received an application for 137-149 Church Street to permit a 61 story mixed-use building at 137-149 Church Street with 469 dwelling units. This site was subject to a zoning by-law amendent that was settled at the Ontario Land Tribunal in 2022. Subsequent that approval, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs issued a Minister's Zoning Order to protect helicopter flight paths through the downtown. The approved flight path cut significanlty into 137-149 Church Street, requiring a new rezoning for the applicant to move forward.
