Register Now for CampTO

The City of Toronto offers 170 summer day camp programs for children and youth aged four to 16 across the city. The camps range from general interest to more specialized programs. Families can begin to plan out their summer camp options once the program listings are visible online, as of February 19 so they are ready once registration begins on March 31. Programs are offered in July and August, for the duration of the public-school board summer break.

Why is the registration for CampTO programs later this year?

The City surveyed families in 2025 on camps and they overwhelmingly expressed their preference for later registration to support affordability and household planning. In response, the City has moved the start of registration for summer camp several weeks later than usual.

Is the CampTO nutrition program continuing in 2026?

Yes, the 2026 Budget includes enhanced funding to expand the CampTO Nutrition Program to all sites offering summer camp, up to 170 camp locations city-wide.

What options are available for families who cannot afford the costs of CampTO programs?

The City of Toronto offers affordable and free camp options. Welcome Policy recreation subsidy is available to provide approved residents financial assistance towards the cost of recreation programs. Residents who need help to pay for paid recreation programs including camps, should apply online. Residents living near Free Centres may be eligible to register early for summer camps on March 24, ahead of the general registration start date of March 31.  Find out more information and check eligibility for Early Local Registration

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
