Canary District Yard Sale: May 30!

Join your neighbours for a fun, sustainable yard sale right in the heart of the Canary District! With the broad sidewalk and many artworks, our Front Street Promenade--between Cooperage Street and Bayview Avenue--is always a great place to stroll on a weekend, but this weekend will be extra special! Three blocks of more than 40 tables bursting with new, gently used, and handcrafted items for sale by Canary District neighbours. Browse the merch, connect with others, and enjoy a great day outside.

If you would like to rent a table, apply here.

You'll find gently used, vintage, and new clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, baby items, kids’ toys, books, cookware, household items, handmade items, paintings, purses, crafts, furniture, textiles, services, lemonade, baked goods, & more!

BONUS: Repair Café Toronto will have a booth! Bring your beloved jewelry, clothing or books/paper items that need mending, to get help from volunteer fixers and learn how to do the repairs yourself.

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
