Circular Economy Road Map: Survey Ends August 17

The City is developing its first Circular Economy Road Map to help build a resilient, inclusive, green and prosperous future for Toronto residents and businesses. Transitioning to a circular economy is not something we can do on our own. A circular economy requires innovation and collaboration across government, industry, academia, the not-for-profit sector and Indigenous communities. Take the online survey to share your ideas!

A circular economy aims to eliminate waste and keep materials in use for as long as possible by rethinking how we design, use and dispose of products. Transitioning to a circular economy will play a key role in building a resilient and sustainable future for Toronto residents and businesses and is a key part of both the City’s Long Term Waste Management Strategy and the TransformTO Net Zero Strategy

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
