Clean Toronto Together: April 24 to 26

Celebrate Earth Month by helping keep Toronto clean. Join thousands of residents, families, businesses and community groups in the annual citywide cleanup from April 24 to 26.

Register by April 22 to choose your cleanup location from a pre-approved parks list, pick up supplies and receive a participant toolkit. Registering for your community clean up in advance will help the City coordinate clean up locations, arrange waste collection and recognize the impact of volunteer efforts across Toronto’s parks and public spaces.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves, bags, grabbers, hand sanitizer and any other items they may need. A limited supply of basic materials (e.g. garbage bags and gloves) will be available for registered groups to pick up at select locations across Toronto.

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
