Fall Recreation Opens September 16 and 17

The City’s fall recreation activity listings are now available to view online and add to your wish list ahead of registration opening in mid-September. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, yoga, fitness, skating and more!

Registration is available online, by phone and in person. Residents are encouraged to prepare for registration by exploring the activity listings and making a wish list of their favourite classes in advance. If you haven’t yet set up an account in the new registration booking system, resources are available at toronto.ca/OnlineReg.

Virtual registration preparation sessions will be offered on Wednesday, August 27, Wednesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 10. Each session will show participants how to create a wish list and prioritize their selections, register and pay (with or without a credit card) and use the Welcome Policy. Find dates and times and register to attend a session at toronto.ca/OnlineReg.

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
