Halloween on Church: October 31 and November 1!

Join me and the Church-Wellesley Village Business Improvement Area (BIA) for Halloween On Church Street in The Village, Canada’s largest Halloween party! This event takes place on Friday, October 31, from 6:30pm to midnight, with Church Street closed from Carlton to Gloucester.

Wear your favorite costume and take part in the festivities down Church Street. It’s a great opportunity to show off your creativity and enjoy the festive atmosphere with your loved ones.

New for this year, the Church-Wellesley Village BIA will have a Beer Garden at the Parking Lot beside O’Grady’s (512 Church Street). The celebration continues on Saturday, November 1, from 7:00pm to midnight, with no street closure on this day.

Enjoy live performances from talented entertainers, including Canada's a Drag star Sofonda and Canada’s Drag Race star Jada Shada Hudson. There will also be a fashion show and music from top DJs.

Whether you come in costume or just to enjoy the festivities, Halloween On Church Street promises a fun experience for everyone. We hope to see you there! For more information on the event, including the Street Closure & Event Management Plans, please visit the Halloween on Church website.

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
