Nuit Blanche Returns October 4

Toronto’s biggest art event is back! This free, all-night celebration of art takes over the city from 7:00pm on Saturday, October 4 to 7:00am on Sunday, October 5. All are invited to explore how urban spaces can be reimagined, communicated and experienced through art. Expect large-scale installations, interactive exhibits and live performances across Toronto - including three curated exhibitions, projects by cultural institutions and a vibrant mix of independent works by local artists.

In what areas of the city will Nuit Blanche take place?

There are three major exhibition areas across Toronto: North York, Etobicoke and downtown. Alongside these exhibitions, programming presented by major institutions and self-produced Independent Projects by Toronto-based artists will animate spaces across the city.

Is Nuit Blanche accessible?

Whether you’re planning ahead or navigating on the night, there are many ways to access and enjoy Nuit Blanche. Admission is free and open to everyone including all projects, exhibitions, venues, performances, installations, talks and tours.  Some services, including specific accommodations or assistive technologies, may require advance notice to arrange. Visit toronto.ca/NuitBlanche for more information.

Can I only experience Nuit Blanche overnight from October 4 to 5?

A selection of projects will remain on display after Sunday, October 5 as part of the Nuit Blanche Toronto Extended Projects program.

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
