Registration Open for Winter Recreation Activities

Starting in early December, Toronto residents will be able to register for over 143,300 winter activity spaces available for a variety of ages, interests and skill levels. Activities include swimming, fitness, sports, skating, arts and technology classes and more begin in January 2026. Browse the list of winter recreation activities and register at toronto.ca/WinterRec.

Registration open dates:  

  • Older adults (60+): Opens 10:00am on Monday, December 1 
  • Etobicoke York & Toronto East York communities: Opens 7:00am on Tuesday, December 2 
  • Scarborough & North York communities: Opens 7:00am on Wednesday, December 3 

 Registration is available online, by phone and in person. Residents are encouraged to prepare for registration by exploring the activity listings and make a wish list of their favourite classes in advance. If you haven’t yet set up an account in the new registration booking system, resources are available at toronto.ca/OnlineReg 

An online Registration Preparation Session will take place on Monday, December 1. The session will walk participants through how to create and prioritize a wish list, register and pay (with or without a credit card) and use the Welcome Policy within the new system. Latest posts

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
