Report Student Vaccination Program

Toronto Public Health has updated its Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA) program for 2025–2026. ISPA suspensions are paused for the remainder of the school year and as a result, students will not be suspended. Requirements remain in place, with a focus on helping families report records and get students up to date, minimizing learning disruptions while strengthening immunization coverage in school communities

Will my child be suspended for missing vaccines this school year?

No. Toronto Public Health will not proceed with ISPA suspensions for students in grades 2 to 5 for the remainder of the school year. Students will remain in class while families are given more time and support to update records or submit a valid exemption.

Do I still need to report my child’s vaccines if suspensions are paused?

Yes. ISPA requirements are still in place. Parents/guardians (or students 16+) must report vaccines to Toronto Public Health. Health care providers do not report records on your behalf. Updating your child’s record now helps avoid issues next school year.

What should I do if my child’s record is still outstanding?

Please submit your child’s vaccination record or a valid exemption as soon as possible. Toronto Public Health is actively reviewing records and offering more ways and more time for families to complete this process, including online, phone, email and mail options.

Doug Ford’s campaign of cruelty against marginalized people living with addiction challenges continues to worsen – and he’s making our entire downtown increasingly unsafe in the process. Ford continues to ignore professionals, experts, researchers, and medical advice in the process as he tries to shut down two of the last remaining supervised consumption services (SCSs) in the Downtown East.
