Saturday Farmer's Market at new St. Lawrence Market North Opens April 5

On April 5, the Saturday Farmers’ Market moves to the newly opened St. Lawrence Market North Building, located at 92 Front Street East. A Toronto tradition since 1803, the market remains a vibrant hub for fresh, local food and historic charm. Visitors can support local farmers and be part of this exciting new chapter.

The Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday from 5:00am and 3:00pm, and offers a wide selection of fresh, locally sourced products, including seasonal fruits and vegetables, premium meats, homemade jams, vibrant flowers and more. It’s the perfect place to support local farmers and enjoy high-quality products.

This may be the first visit for many residents to the newly built St. Lawrence Market North Building. It's a stunning space that I know will go on to host a variety of events year-round. Along with the St. Lawrence Hall and St. Lawrence Market buildings, this complex will join the list of incredible civic assets in the heart of this historic neighbourhood.

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
