St. Lawrence Library Relocation Public Open House

Please join myself, Toronto Public Library (TPL) Staff, and Building Arts Architects for a Public Open House at 339 Queen Street East to hear about the St. Lawrence relocation and expansion project. Meet the team that will be working on the project. Hear about TPL’s vision for the new district library, the preliminary work plan and schedule.

The site offers the space and flexibility required for a modern 30,000 square foot district library and enables the co-location of TPL’s IT Department, which will allow the City to repurpose TPL’s existing facility at 120 Martin Ross Avenue to support other municipal priorities. As part of enhanced services at this new branch, there are several components that are critical to see funded to meet community needs. These include enhanced library programming space, a digital innovation hub and fabrication studio, and virtual interview rooms, as well as other capital improvements to the facility that will contribute to enhancing programming and services offered.
