Summer Recreation Registration Opens June 9 and 10!

Get ready for summer! From swimming lessons and sports, to arts and crafts, there's summer recreation activities for everyone to enjoy. Make a wish list of classes ahead of registration opening on June 9, 10 and 11.

The City’s summer recreation activity listings are now available for residents to browse. With approximately 11,700 registered courses and more than 87,000 spaces offered, the City is the largest provider of recreation programs for people of all ages, skill levels and interests in Toronto. Programs include outdoor swimming lessons, basketball, Hip-hop dance, jewellery making and more. Find more information on the City’s Summer Recreation Activities webpage 

Registration for summer activities opens: 

  • For Older Adult (60+) activities at 10:00am on Monday, June 9  
  • For Etobicoke York and Toronto East York at 7:00am on Tuesday, June 10  
  • For Scarborough and North York at 7:00am on Wednesday, June 11 

The fastest and easiest way to register is online. Residents are encouraged to explore the registration and booking system and make a wish list of all your favourite classes ahead of registration. Resources to help you create your new account and navigate the new registration and booking system are available at toronto.ca/OnlineReg. 

Registration preparation sessions will be virtually offered from Monday, May 26 to Monday, June 9, providing residents a chance to get familiar with the City’s new registration and booking system. Each session will walk participants through how to create and prioritize a wish list, register and pay (with or without a credit card), and use the Welcome Policy within the new system. Latest posts

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
