TC Talks: Building Complete Communities: May 6!

Join myself and a panel of experts on May 6 for a discussion about urban planning and how we can building the kinds of communities we ourselves and our children to live in. Joining us will be the City's new Chief Planner, Jason Throne, ERA Architect Principle Michael McClelland, More Neighbours Toronto founder Eric Lombardi and 8 80 Cities Executive Director Amanda Rourke. Please register to attend!

Local planning is becoming increasingly important as communities want to protect their local heritage and culture hubs, maintain a vibrant streetscape, and ensure affordability. As we see development across Toronto under provincial planning policies that restrict community input and benefits, how can we remain engaged in community planning? How do we define spaces that are meaningful to us? Who decides what is meaningful? How can we preserve our cultural spaces and protect affordability?
