Women4ClimateTO – Call for Mentors and Mentees

The City’s Women4ClimateTO Mentorship Program empowers and supports emerging women climate leaders working on innovative projects that will help to mitigate the impacts of climate change. Learn more and apply by Thursday, November 20 on the City’s Women4Climate Toronto Mentorship Program webpage

Participants will receive mentoring, training and networking opportunities to help advance their project or business venture. Following the mentorship program, participants will have a chance to compete in a pitch competition for cash awards and other supports to further advance their initiative.   

Eligible candidates must identify as women, trans women or 2-spirit individuals, be 18 years of age or older and reside, work or study within Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Additionally, they should have an established climate action project or a start-up business to grow with the support of the program. Latest posts

More than 130 residents participated in community safety meetings hosted by my office and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) this spring in St. James Town and Moss Park. The meetings brought together residents, TCHC staff, Toronto Police Service, the City's Violence Intervention and Support Unit, Fred Victor, and Unison Health and Community Services to discuss local safety concerns and identify solutions.
