Many residents concerned about the proposed 10-storey building at 509 Parliament Street have reached out to me with concerns about height, heritage, impacts on Broadcast Lane, and waste pick-up.
As City staff support this application, outright refusing it will result in a loss at the Ontario Land Tribunal. By continuing to defer action on this item at Toronto and East York Community Council, I am pushing the applicant for further changes to minimize the impact of waste pickup on Parliament Street to try and get some benefit from this development for the people of Cabbagetown.
