The City of Toronto is conducting combined sewer replacement and road resurfacing on Ontario Street, between Carlton Street and Wellesley Street East. This includes replacement of the combined sewer system, replacement of the City-owned portion of substandard water services, manhole replacement, trench and sidewalk restoration, and road resurfacing and streetscape improvements.
Work is underway, construction teams have been mobilized, materials have been delivered, and sewer inspections have begun. Work is progressing block- by-block from Carlton Street north toward Aberdeen Avenue and Wellesley Street East.
