Sporting Life 10k Road Closures

On Sunday May 10^th, over 23,000 participants will complete the Sporting Life 10K and run for Campfire Circle. Together they are raising $2.6 million to bring healing through happiness for kids and families affected by childhood cancer. This is one of Canada’s premier running events, with all the net proceeds going to charity. 

Due to the impacts of FIFA on Exhibition Place, the post-race venue, finish line, course and start line have changed for this year. From the start line, at Yonge Street & Glengrove Ave, the Sporting Life 10K proceeds south on Yonge Street to Front Street. The route continues east along Front Street toward the Canary District. Participants will finish on Front Street by Cherry Street and then make their way to Corktown Common for the Post-Event Party.

• Front Street East, from Yonge Street to Trinity Street (6:30 AM - 12:00 PM) 

 

• Eastern Avenue, from Front Street East to Trinity Street (6:30 AM - 12:00 PM)

 

• Front Street East, from Trinity Street to Bayview Avenue (4:00 AM - 2:00 PM) 

 

• Cherry Street, from Eastern Avenue to Mill Street (4:00 AM - 2:00 PM) 

 

• Bayview Avenue, from Front Street to Mill Street (Saturday 7:00 AM until Sunday 5:00 PM)
