The Bay Cloverhill community consists mainly of condominiums and apartment buildings with commercial businesses along Yonge Street and Bay Street. The University of Toronto with associated educational uses and Women's College Hospital dominate the area west of Bay. The majority of residents are students or seniors, who enjoy the convenience and variety of downtown living. The Bay Cloverhill Community Association is a volunteer grassroots organization dedicated to improving the neighbourhood for its residents.
Recycling in Toronto is Changing
Starting January 1, 2026, the City of Toronto will no longer manage recycling collection. Under the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Act of 2016, this responsibility will shift to producers, with Circular Materials taking over Blue Bin collections for all residential properties, schools, long-term care facilities and retirement homes.
