Moss Park Arena is the only public arena downtown. As your councillor, I’m committed to improving access to recreation facilities for our local families.
A governance review of Moss Park Arena is beginning and will consider making the City responsible for running the arena, rather than just capital repairs. A City-run arena will have a broader access and programming mandate, with greater emphasis on service deliver.

The Access to Recreation Program has increased access to swimming lessons and facilities for local students at Winchester, Sprucecourt, Nelson Mandela, and Lord Dufferin schools.
