Our City has been working with the local Indigenous community to develop the Indigenous Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Canada’s largest incubator supporting First Nations (status and non-status), Inuit and Métis entrepreneurs and innovators.
The ICIE is a space committed to empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs and innovators in pursuing their entrepreneurial goals by providing various services, such as business programming, advisory services, mentorship supports, shared co-workspace, community event space and connections to business networks.

As your councillor, enhancing equitable access to recreation facilities has been a key priority. Just like you, I value the Moss Park Arena, our only indoor arena downtown, along with the vibrant outdoor Ice Rink in Regent Park.
The Access to Recreation Program has increased access to swimming lessons and facilities for local students at Winchester, Sprucecourt, Nelson Mandela, and Lord Dufferin schools.
