Opening Up our Community Spaces

A vibrant and livable community has shared spaces and amenities for local residents to access and use.

That’s why my staff have been actively working to create more community spaces in new developments, and conducting community space audits to identify and open up underutilized spaces in Regent Park and across the ward.

We have developed a community space resource guide with a map of all of the locations and how you can access or book space for meetings and events. We are working on reimagining the top floors of the Regent Park Community Centre and working with ArtsHub to increase community use at Daniels Spectrum. This fall we will also be launching a request for expressions of interest for space at 38 Regent Street. Visit chrismoise.ca/communityspace.
