As many of you know, reviving the Historic Queen East BIA is a key priority since it will play a key role in the revitalization and development of
the area.
This is currently at the stage of having preliminary meetings with interested businesses in that area. BIAs are able to access to city funding for beautification measures, safety & funding for Ontario Line relief for affected businesses. The Historic Queen East BIA will have AGM in this fall in order to pass its first budget and elect its first board, before going fully operational in the spring of 2025.

As your councillor, enhancing equitable access to recreation facilities has been a key priority. Just like you, I value the Moss Park Arena, our only indoor arena downtown, along with the vibrant outdoor Ice Rink in Regent Park.
The Access to Recreation Program has increased access to swimming lessons and facilities for local students at Winchester, Sprucecourt, Nelson Mandela, and Lord Dufferin schools.
